Josh is investigating juvenile settlement decisions and their role in determining how populations adapt to environmental change. He is approaching this issue through a mixture of fieldwork in the Tagus estuary, and analysing a long-term dataset following Icelandic Black-tailed Godwits across their entire range. He is based at the Universities of Aveiro and East Anglia.
